Grade 8
God is surely a mathematician!
Pat Barnson is the keeper of the eights! In her realm, students construct bridges only to raze them. She also introduces them to Pythagoras so that they will never be cornered. Mrs. Barnson is also instrumental in bringing music into students' lives. Together, she and her students expand (like the universe!) their minds.
Mrs. Barnson teaches religion to grade 8, math and science to grades 7 and 8, and music to grades 1, 2 and 3.
Messages from Mrs. Barnson:
Attention Confirmation Candidates and their Parents:
Please choose a sponsor as soon as possible so that you might complete and submit the registration form.
The retreat will be held on Saturday, March 10, 1-4 p.m. Confirmation candidates should attend with their sponsors. If for any reason the sponsor is not available to attend that day, the candidate should ask another adult to step in for the day as the activities planned require interaction between the candidate and an adult.
The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place Tuesday, May 8th at 7:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius Church. Candidates and their sponsors should gather in the church hall at 7 p.m. that night as well as at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 7th for rehearsal.
Attention Parents and Grade 7 & 8 students:
The grade 7 & 8 winter camp will be held February 13-15 at Camp Arnes. We are in need of parent volunteers - particularly males - to accompany us and act as supervisors for day-time activity groups as well as night-time supervisors. Please contact Mrs. Barnson or Mrs. Probetts if you can help us out.

Students in grades 7 and 8 claimed an account to access their math textbook electronically for this school year. They may use the link below to get to the login page for textbook access:
They should input their full e-mail address in the prompt for username. Please let me know if you are having trouble accessing your account.
Blessings,
Pat Barnson
