Shelly Ouimet is the grade six teacher at St. Ignatius School. She is inspired by the energy and curiosity of her students. Mrs. Ouimet is passionate about the arts and loves drama, performing arts, and music.
She encourages her students to blossom and develop their individuality through various activities to channel their creativity. She strongly believes that learning should be a fun, interactive process.
When she is not teaching, Mrs. Ouimet is involved in numerous extra-curricular activities involving student and staff. Along with Theresa Kolody-McKay, she supervises the St. Ignatius School patrol team who have received numerous awards and accolades.

It's time to say goodbye

I've watched you learn and grow
And change from day to day
I hope that all the things we've done
Have helped in some small way
So it's with happy memories
