Maria Marasco

"If you don't live the language you won't learn the language."

Maria Marasco is the K-8 Basic French teacher at St. Ignatius School. She's full of energy and creative ideas. People say she brings French to life in the classroom.

Mme. Marasco is especially proud of students who use the language in and out of the classroom. Practice makes perfect, she always says!

Mme. Marasco enjoys listening to all types of music, watching movies (in French of course!), and having students perform French skits.

N'oubliez pas que c'est L'EFFORT qui compte avec Mme.  Try to always speak and write in French. You'll be surprised at how much you know.

Now try your skills at French.  Do you know what the following  mean?

a)   "J'ai faim! Quand est-ce qu'on mange? "

b)   "Vouloir, c'est pouvoir!"

c)   "Dieu aime celui qui donne avec joie." 2 Cor 9:7

d)    "Sois sympa!  Les paroles peuvent blesser!"
