French

"If you don't live the language you won't learn the language."
Maria Marasco is the K-8 Basic French teacher at St. Ignatius School. She's full of energy and creative ideas. People say she brings French to life in the classroom.
Mme. Marasco is especially proud of students who use the language in and out of the classroom. Practice makes perfect, she always says!
Mme. Marasco enjoys listening to all types of music, watching movies (in French of course!), and having students perform French skits.
I would like to wish the grade eight class "Félicitations pour avoir completer le cours de Français de Base avec du succès! All the best at your new schools and visit us sometime soon." Once again, we had another successful year of learning French at St.Ignatius School. I'm proud of all the effort the students put into learning one of Canada's official languages. Have a safe and restful summer vacation and be ready to come back telling me about your adventures... in French of course! See you on September 7, 2010! A la prochaine! Mme. Marasco
